This was a lazy day. Coffee and Croissants at Café Au Bout de L’Islel and then walk the streets of the town. A stop at G. D’ Aoust & Cie, Inc. for a purchase of anchor shaped coat hooks for just inside the cockpit door. We visited Marine St. Bellevue and purchased screws and flag clips for the AGLCA flag which was not being displayed very well on one of the mast stays.
It was cloudy weather so we spent much time aboard log writing and getting the narrative for the blog put together. When all was ready we headed to the Klondike restaurant to use their wifi, have dinner and post blog entries.
When finished with this we moved the boat to the blue line as we intended to go through the locks the next morning. This precipitated a memorable night. The blue line is under a four lane highway bridge and under a railroad bridge. Little did we know that trains ran at least every half hour and the traffic was constant all night long. It was less than a restful night.
