October 12, 2015 – Monday – Joe Wheeler State Park Marina – No travel

Today I used cleaner on the entire cockpit floor, scrubbed it well and rinsed. I then used brightener on the floor and continued misting it and using a brush on it until it lightened up quite a bit.

There was a sizable “chart hour” around the pool of people we had traveled with at some point in the circuit. We then went over to Manãna to see their boat. This boat is the sister ship to Mei Wenti but they found it in Florida damaged after a tropical storm and cut the top off and had it shipped to Ontario where they completely renovated the entire boat. It is beautifully done and looks like new. It helped us see how the Mei Wenti could look with a lot of work.

The boat on the right is Manana a 1986 boat that is the sistership to Mei Wenti. This boat belongs to Dave and Sue from Orilla, Ontario
