March 21, 2016 – Monday – Old Port Cove Marina – No Travel

John and Alison had left St. Petersburg very early so arrived mid morning. After visiting aboard Sea To See for awhile we decided to head north along the coast to find a restaurant overlooking the ocean. We drove for miles and miles and discovered there was no such thing. It was fun exploring anyway. Finally we turned back and had lunch at a sports bar and grille in North Palm Beach.

We then drove south along the coast headed for Delray Beach about 30 miles away. We hugged the coast where possible and it was something to see all of the huge mansions along the ocean front and fronting the ICW. We returned via the coastal freeway and found a hotel for J and A to stay in for the night. Then we went to dinner at a Thai food restaurant. It was nice to do a little exploration via land and to see the back side of all we see from the water.
