March 27, 2016 – Sunday – New Smyrna Beach – No Travel

We went to the New Smyrna Beach United Methodist Church for Easter Sunday services. A beautiful church with friendly people and an enjoyable service. We are glad we went.

After church we decided to look for the Time Share we had stayed in previously. We discovered it had been torn down and the land was being prepared to build something else. Then we decided to check out a restaurant, Boston Seafood, we had previously visited and found it would be a good place to have Sunday Brunch.

Around 4:00 PM Ward and Laura Berg, JoAnn Thayer’s daughter and husband, on whose Krogen 39 we had our first taste of the AICW a few years ago, came to the boat to visit and we had many boating stories to share. Tom and JoAnn showed up later in the evening so we all went to the “Third Wave” restaurant for dinner. What a great little restaurant with outdoor courtyard seating that reminded us of Blue Heaven in Key West.
