March 31, 2016 – Thursday – Marineland Marina to Hidden Harbor Marina, St. Augustine – 19.1 statute miles traveled

We were only going to go about 19 miles so took our time getting away from the dock. We said goodbye to Eric, the dock master, as if we were old friends. He had been very friendly and helpful the whole time we were at this marina. He liked Sea to See too.

Upon arrival at St. Augustine we took a turn to the west and headed a few miles up the San Sebastian River to Hidden Harbor Marina. We had met two couples while at Marineland Marina who both swore by this marina. The price was very reasonable and the dock mistress was also very friendly and helpful.

Soon after getting settled Vicki’s cousin, Liz Johanson her husband John and friends Nigel and Sondra, arrived. We had stayed in their house in Largo three months ago. We visited aboard the boat for a while and then piled into their car and we all toured St. Augustine the rest of the day and into the night. We said goodbye at the boat and they returned to their hotel.
